Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz - was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria who is half-sister to Jubal & Sunyata. At the age of seven, Ryder was seven, her family moved into Mendocino County California. The family lived in a place without electric power. Ryder was a consummate bookworm and would spend her days reading books because there was no TV. Ryder began to take acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was 12 years old. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 that she was in, was her debut major character. Ryder was only 15 when she got it. Ryder was bullied in high school. Ryder hoped her acting career would end the way she dealt with bullying. Unfortunately that didn't come to happen. However, it didn't stop her from pursuing dreams. Her breakthrough came in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in 1988. Ryder went on to have numerous roles that were successful. There were two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
