Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film which was her first film role. She struggled to get a small role on Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. This is because most models aren't good actors. And they are usually only given small, insignificant roles. Amy never gave up. Her first big role came in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues.
